Frequently Asked Questions

See below for our most frequently asked questions. If you have a question that isn’t answered below, please send us a message and we’ll be happy to help!

We build all our kennels with the highest quality Texas-grown Southern Yellow Pine.

All of our stains and finishes are pet friendly.

Because of the high-quality wood we use, they will last as long as any other fine piece of custom wood furniture you may have.

Our current lead time is 6-8 weeks from the time you order until the time we ship. We will update this lead time regularly and keep you updated on your kennel’s progress while you wait.

We charge a flat rate for freight shipping of $399.  When your kennel is complete we will pack it onto a shipping crate and set up shipping through our carrier.  We will contact you before shipping to confirm all your details.  Your kennel will arrive via semi-truck and will be unloaded with a lift gate.  Shipping normally takes about a week and we will provide you with a tracking number.
The carrier will call you to set up a delivery window. You must be present to inspect the package for damage and sign for it.  The driver will not bring the kennel into your home, or uncrate it.  Having a couple of friends available to help you move the kennel into your home is recommended.

See our video below that explains how we ship your dog kennel!

Ordering a custom piece of furniture online can be a little scary. Knowing who you’re buying from can help alleviate some of those concerns. Howdy! I’m Robert, owner of Texas Custom Kennels and Dailey Woodworks. We’re a small family-owned business that operates out of my garage in Snook, Texas (It’s OK that you’ve never heard of it, It’s 10 Miles from Texas A&M University).

I’ve got the privilege of building custom furniture and dog kennels that you’ll love and your grandkids will fight over while working from home and getting to see my kids play in the back yard every day. To learn more about our story click here.
